Desmond opened the door quickly and when Jayden saw him, he sprang up from the bed he was sitting on, rushed to Desmond and punched him right on his face, heavily.

“fu-ck!” Desmond cussed, seeing blood already trickling down his nostrils.

“Jayden…”

“Oh no. Don’t, Desmond. Don’t!”

“I can explain, okay?, Its all my fault. I hug-ged her-

“And she hug-ged you back. I fu-cking saw the picture, Des!. You did too!”

“I was fu-cking cold that why”

“And does that fu-cking explain why she should hug you back, with a wide smile on her face??”

“I guess she was very excited”

“What? The fu-ck?, Excited?, About what?? Hugging you??, fu-cking say that again!!” Jayden growled.

“She was excited-

A punch landed on Desmond face again, har-der than the former.

“About your birthday” Desmond added, groa-ning lowly.

“Huh?” Jayden muttered.

Desmond wiped the over flowing blood from his nose and splitted li-ps. His face has bruises too.

“You heard me. She set this…I don’t know, this…grand big sweet party just for her boyfriend who didn’t even care and just I don’t know, made conclusions suddenly”

Jayden blinked and a tear escaped from his eyes.

“I thought y’all forgot. I even waved it aside and didn’t bother to remind or tell anyone about it, so that, it wouldn’t seem like I’m bothersome”

Desmond sm-irked.

“How would we forget?, Whitney was the most happiest and excited. She had been playing this for two days now. Before, I forget… Happy birthday, dude”

Jayden just smiled, dryly.

“What are we waiting for? Go to her

She’s waiting. And she must be crying too” Desmond said

“Thanks dude” Jayden hug-ged him, crying already.

“And I’m sorry” He further said.

“Nah, we cool”

“Thanks” Jayden broke ithe hug.

“Stop being a cry baby and go to her…now!” Desmond wiped his tears.

Jayden chuckled and nodded, before dashing off. Desmond’s smile suddenly faded away, and a sad expression took over his face.

Soon, tears started dropping from his bruised and bleeding face.

“I feel so pathetic…” His voice vibrated, sadly and he squ-eezed his che-st.

JADE’S ROOM**

“fu-ck!!” Jade screamed, standing up.

“You took the wrong person. Bring her back!! fu-cking stop the torture and bring Natalie back!! Its Whitney!! Whitney!! fu-cking Whitney!! Not Natalie!! I wanted Whitney tortured and ra-ped to death but you guys just flunked it!! Dammit!!” Jade growled and threw her phone down.

Just then, Clark bursted into her room and when she saw him, she fell to the ground.

“I didn’t hear that properly, right?” His eyes were red and misty.

“Wha…What?” She stuttered, shaking like a leaf in a cold, windy night.

“You…didn’t plan evil against Whitney right?, and a twist happened, making my Natalie to be the one, bearing the pains of your evil plans”

She swallowed.

“I’ve no idea what you’re talking about” She spoke, taking her fear aside.

“Oh no. Jade, you were quite loud and I heard everything when pa-ssing the lobby”

His hands suddenly gripped her ne-ck and she started choking.

“I’m actually a cute tiger but you wanna know how dangerous a tiger like me can be?… Then,,, touch Natalie” He snarled, his teeth, gnashing.

“I…please… Let me go” She growled, holding his clenching strong hand which was strapped on her ne-ck.

“Where’s my Natalie!!” He growled.

She coughed. Her ne-ck was red already. Veins were showing around her face and sweats were formimg too.

“Answer me!!” He roared.

Now, Jade was seeing a real tiger. His eyes were so damn red. His muscles were out and his hands, very tough. His teeth looked sharper and hostile too.

She has never seen a childish, cool, innocent, and sweet Clark that way before. He was different. He sounded different too.

“Clark!..pkease” She sobbed.

She was really struggling to breath.

“Get ready for nemesis, Jade. It’s comimg. Your end. Your doom. Your worse nightmare” He whispered.

Shivers were sent down her spine. She was feeling his odd vibes from Clark that she couldn’t explain. His voice alone made her so scared.

Tears of regrets were already brimming in her bloodshot weak eyes.

“Now,, where is my Nat!!!” He roared, choking her the nore.

“Argh” She gro-aned, in agony and pains feeling his fingernails sinking in her ne-ck.

M R HOTEL & SUITES**

Jayden was pa-nting when he got to the door. He kept ringing the door bell, continuously.

Whitney opened it later on. She was wearing a black jacket, and a mini skirt now. She was gripping her jacket since it wasn’t bu-ttoned.

“Whitney…” He whispered, his eyes filled with clear tears.

She only parted her li-ps to talk but words refused to form.

“I…

“Jayden” She suddenly said.

“cu-pcake”

“No. Don’t…don’t call me that” She whispered, and a heavy tear jumped from her left eye which splashed heavily on the floor.

“Whitney, Please…I…

“I wanna be alone, I beg you” She whispered, and shut the door on his face.

He quickly opened it and saw she was already leaving. Her back was against him.

“What if a stranger comes in. Always lock the door please” He muttered.

Whitney scoffed. As soon as she took a step forward, Jayden arms tied around her wa-ist and he interlocked his fingers.

“I’m sorry…” Jayden whispered, keeping his chin on her shoulder.

“I’m sorry, Whitney. I’m really sorry” He was crying now.

Whitney eyes were letting out trickling tears. She raised her arm up and she started stro-king his hair.

“Happy birthday, Jayden” She whispered, and he hug-ged her ti-ghter which could mean a ‘thank you’?
