Annie Macaulay-Idibia is a popular Nigerian actress, model, presenter and entrepreneur.

She was born November 13, 1984 in Ibadan but she is originally from Eket in Akwa Ibom State in south southern Nigeria. She is the only girl in a family of four children. Annie had her up-bringing in Ibadan. She moved to Lagos with her mother after her parents got separated.

Educational Background

Annie had her primary and secondary education in Ibadan for her first and secondary school certificates respectively.

She went further to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science at the Lagos State University and Theatre Arts at the University of Lagos, respectively.

Her Acting Career

Annie Macaulay–Idibia began her acting career shortly after competing at the “Queen of All Nations Beauty Pageant” where she emerged runner-up.

She also made a cameo appearance on the music video of 2face Idibia’s “African Queen” song.

Annie made her entry into Nollywood and acted her first movie, ‘Pleasure and Crime’. Her brilliant roles in the movies, ‘Pleasure and Crime’ and ‘Blackberry Babes’ shot her to fame and recognition in Nollywood and gave her roles in subsequent movies.
