Vincent Enyeama is a Nigerian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper. He was also a member of the Nigerian national team from 2002 until October 2015, serving as its captain from 2013 until his retirement from international football. With 101 caps, he is Nigeria's most capped player of all time. 

Early Life & Career

Vincent Enyeama was born in Akwa Ibom, Nigeria in August 1982. Vincent is a goalkeeper who started his senior career with Ibom Stars in 1999. He played for the Stars until 2000 and appeared in 56 matches. He next played for Enyimba International F.C. from 2001 to 2004 and appeared in 100 matches. With Enyimba he won the Nigerian Premier League in 2001, 2002, and 2003, and the CAF Champions League in 2003 and 2003. Enyeama was also named CAF Champions League Player of the Year in 2004. In 2005 he played in 36 matches for Iwuanyanwu Nationale. He joined Bnei Yehuda from 2005 to 2007 playing in 56 matches. Vincent joined Hapoel Tel Aviv in 2007 and played in 113 matches until 2011. He won the Israeli Premier League in 2009-10 and the Israeli State Cup in 2010 and 2011. In 2009 he was named Footballer of the Year in Israel. Enyeama joined Lille in 2011 and was loaned to Maccabi Tel Aviv from 2012 to 2013. He won the Israeli Premier League in 2012-13. In 2013 Vincent was named the UNFP Player of the Month in October and November. He also won the Marc Vivien Foe Award in 2014. Enyeama has also represented Nigeria in international competition since 2002. He has made 95 appearances and won the Africa Cup of Nations in 2013. He has played in the FIFA World Cup in 2010 and 2014.
